He surely deserves to be the first Indian Idol. I do hope that Sony continues this programme with a new Indian Idol every year. This will give a boost to the immense talent we haver in our country. My only wish is that the programme is extended to many more cities which were left untapped previously. Abhijeet has matured a lot as a singer in the past few weeks and his immense talent and hard work is maturing him as a great singer. Prajakta seems to have taken Anu Malik's comment too seriously that the Indian Idol would be a female and hence her performance is going downhill steadily. I feel she would be out this week. For the rest Amit Sana is amazing and he should be appreciated for performing so well despite having a sore throat. When Anu Malik made that comment over her appearance, she is appearing more subtle. Yesterday - the "Mast" song she sang, it has so much energy considering that Sunidhi has sung it originally and she made it look like a dull and boring song. Rahul is quite good except that he is over-confident. Amit Sana - somehow I do not like him as an idol but his voice quality is amazing. Sana is NOT able to react to people's comments. He goes dead when it comes to expressions. He cannot smile or talk properly. He can only SING. Thats what I hate about him. Abhijeet is a STAR. The kind of zeal and thrill he has in his singing its amazing. His smile is killing. He can rock you and should be the first Indian Idol. About ravinder, I do agree that he is the right package (phrase used here is not based on the yardsticks set by of Anu n Farah), in the sense Ravinder had that "apna mitti ka khushboo". All this said, It does not make me upset that he has been voted out. This is mainly bcs in many of the rounds when the janatha voted him "safe" he had not performed well. Believe me, he was "besura". Now this you will agree that Aditi was a strong contestant n sang really well. She should have been safe instead of Ravinder. So this time if he is voted out despite performing well, i think its ok. Rahul vaidya is ok, but his voice is nothing new...he is just another Sonu. Prajaktha sings well n is pretty too. But i think she has impresse the judges and many others in the industry already that she might not need the "Indian Idol" title to enter the industry. I am sure she is already got some contract. Now that leaves Abhijeeth ans Amit Sana. they are tooo good, both have distinctive style of singing, josh hein, junoon hein n that bit of "mitti ki khushboo". She sings damn good and if she were there in the last gala round then it wd b tough for us to choose who is the best. I dont know on what basis Indian ppl threw her out of the contest. Prajakta was the least impressive of the 4 singers, and so she had to go. Its now boiled down to three of the best singers;aditi paul and rahul saxena would have completed the group of being the best 5 singers. The best thing abt Sana and Abhijit is that both of them are unique in their own ways.Sana has an awesome original voice and Abhijit is a great performer, and has amazingly upped his performance in the last two weeks. Rahul Vaidya, if one will remember has always been that tad overconfident and brash, even during the earlier rounds.He too is a great singer, but i guess it ought to boil down between abhijit and amit, and may the best man win.
