But the elimination of ravinder ravi seems to have a political touch.Though he was not a good singer and crossed most of the gala rounds by luck but his elimination seemed to be a planned one. As i had gussed before that ravinder ravi will be removed when only 5 contenders remain proved to be right. The managers of indian idol probably might have thought to give him the 60 thousand given by the ICICI bank and eliminate him from the compitition. According to me, if luck was favoring him and luck was helpin him to cross the gala rounds, the indian idol guys had no right to remove him. Finally let the Best person win. Since last 5 weeks Judges were passing unwanted remarks about him. And I would say Ravinder was enough gentleman to handle it. One thing you all must have noted that during show Ravinder would sit alone and aloof while other contestants would hold each other hands and support each other. What did that point out?? Just because he belongs to a poor background they wanted him to separate out?? As far as the last show was concerned he was far better than Prajakta..I liked his simplicity and humbleness. I’ll miss him...wherever he will go, he will have good wishes of lakhs of people like me. Now I am least bother about who will be the Indian Idol. Though the remainig two are my favourites, i love the voice of abhijeet. Amit has a strong classical base which i think may favour him. if rahul goes in this week, then it will be really a toughest choice for voters. I can not imagine anyone of amit or abhijeet to be out of the contest even now...!! I think both of them are excellent with their own styles. Abhijeet is very good for playback and amit is very much suitable for indipop and fusion. So, according to me, they can not be compared with each other.
