Many other channels have started showing similar programmes but how would they copy sets of Indian Idol, and performers, and above all hosts like Aman Verma! If you saw the episode on Thursday, the 24th of February, where both finalists had to sing a new composition in their own style, Abhijeet sang it in the conventional Bollywood playback way...it became slow and repetitive after a point.... AMIT, on the other hand, experimented with a difficult fusion style that made the ordinary lyrics seem powerful....thats what a singer needs, enough confidence in his voice to carry off different styles. So, for the sheer power of his voice and the pure entertainment value of his singing, HATS OFF TO AMIT SANA! posted by: anachris (reply) post date: 02.24.05 (8:46 pm) for one, they are obviosly over-rated anchores, i mean both. before annoncing the results, they talk stuffs like "who contestant jo akhiri baar gayenje" or" jinko public ne kiya hai out" or " jinke sapno ko yahan khatam hona hai" etc. etc are really very depressing and in fact annoying. its not like the contestants life has come to an end and nither ppl have completely disapproved of them. so my say, STOP DEPRESSING THE CONTESTANTS. But the most important is quality voice which can be heard and felt in Abhijeet's voice. No wonder he is the only Indian Idol.
